A Place to Call Home (Tioga)

A Place to Call Home is our transitional housing program for single homeless women in Tioga County. Our guests come to us from difficult situations including couch surfing, incarceration, addiction treatment, and domestic violence.

We rent a lovely 5-bedroom house in Apalachin which becomes home for our guests for weeks or even several months. In addition to providing housing in the short to medium term (3 to 6 months), the program encompasses life skills such as budgeting and time management, advocacy assistance navigating local services, and goal setting to plan for a self-sustaining future. If you are interested in learning more about our new program, please contact Jo at 607-206-5335.
